Each session is 60 minutes

Sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly. However this can be adapted and reviewed based on each individual.

Confidentiality is taken very seriously.

I adhere to the professional code of ethics as outlined by the Health Professions Council and British Association of Occupational Therapists. All sessions are confidential. There are certain exceptions where I may be required to breach confidentiality, these include:

-In the case of prevention of harm to yourself or to others

-In the case of prevention and detection of a serious crime

-When required by a court of law

I consult with a supervisor in line with professional regulations – this is to ensure I reflect adequately on client work and is essential to maintaining an ethical and competent therapy practice. Client identities will not be revealed as part of this process and any notes that I may write after sessions for my own use are securely stored and anonymous.
